Bunk is in a brilliant area of the city making it easy to walk into the old town. The staff were very helpful offering restaurant recommendations and the best sights to see. Room was clean and breakfast was pretty good.

Very clean with nice and kind receptionists always willing to help, perfect location but noisy at night due to bars and restaurants around ...big safety boxes under the beds!!!!Wireless network even available in the rooms!

An excellent choice. Very trendy decor, clean and highly comfortable (i stayed in the dorms). The staff are excellent; great english and knowledge of the local area. The price is (surprisingly) comparable to other hostels i stayed at in Istanbul (again using the dorms as a reference point).

Staff was excellent with our requests. Location is good, considering cost of the city, and an easy walk to the old town, and good variety of shops close. The one computer didn´t work the whole visit. False advertising on the postal service, and laundry facilities as there are none. Showers were often cool for long periods, couldn´t seem to handle more than one person showering at a time. Kitchen lacked a lot, only one pot, and had to go to the desk often for cultery and dishes, vary bare.

Bunk offers all the necessary amenities but was a bit over priced (for the private ensuite) since our room was extremely small. Moreover the ensuite are on the top floor where everyone hangs out and it can get noisy. The area is great for groups of friends as there are many bars around, but sulthahammet is more appropriate for couple. Wifi is accessible everywhere and is decently fast even on the terrace (there is no more jacuzzi) For the same price you can get something much bigger andnicer

Overall a beautifully designed hostel with a wonderful staff. Full disclosure: they don't have a Jacuzzi anymore. It's frustrating to expect something listed in their description and to not have it exist. Knew that was too good to be true. I'd stay somewhere cheaper next time.

Good location for bars, restaurants, nightlife. A lot of noise from outside due to proximity. Windows not very soundproof so I needed headphones to sleep. I found people didn't mingle much during my stay - they wake up late and hit the town in their own groups usually. Very clean rooms but cigarette smell from street was able to get in my street facing room on the 1st floor. Staff were very friendly.

Was more like a hotel than hostel. Stayed in a 4 bed room on the first floor. Very clean! Staff were lovely. Location- fair way out from the night life, better suited for non partiers. Taxis had trouble finding it. Not very well signed from the main road. Breakfast was average but sufficient. Would recommend.

Pros: Great location, cool decor, helpful staff, rooftop jacuzzi. Cons: Very basic breakfast, can hear the noise of the city late into the night.

Small but cozy, great location. Good breakfast with cereal, bread, spreads, boiled eggs, feta cheese and some cut veggies. Very nice staff. The rooms are very small but clean and comfortable. There was only one bathroom on the floor I stayed, but it didn't turn out to be an issue. Roof top tiny - has a jacuzzi, which didn't work when I was there but still fine as a bathtub. Can be loud from nearby, as there's some club or so around the corner.

I had a very pleasant stay at #bunk. Hostel was very clean and the staff were very nice. One major drawback is the noise on the street. It is very hard to sleep through the night as the music runs till 5am in the morning!

The rooms are small but clean with comfortable beds and an outlet in each bunk. Nice bathrooms--only drawback is that there was only one toilet and shower on our floor. Breakfast was better than average for a hostel and staff were helpful. Good location between Taksim Square and the Old City sights. Well-connected by public transport but we walked everywhere (10 minutes to Taksim, 20-25 minutes to the Spice Bazaar, around 40 to the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofya, etc). Would definitely return.

Bunk is a beautiful hostel in a perfect location so close to everything in Beyoglu. Our 2bed-room was really small but had nice furniture. Breakfast was really delicious and we could even use the jacuzzi on the rooftop! Must be amazing in summer. The only problem was that the 4 bathrooms were always occupied...and that they're most of the time fully booked so that we had to book another hostel. All in all a great stay in a modern hipster hostel :)
