Talak in Chaozhou(local Chinese) mean MARKET which is sound like Talad(in Thai mean market) and that is an originate of the hostel name. We build hostel to become full of thing, colors, stories and of course friends.
de Talak want to be super simple hostel. We're not chic or cool as the others but we promise you will sleep tight all night long.

This place is pretty cheap, but they'll charge you extra for anything from changing beds to checking in early. The location is awful, 10 mins from the MRT, which you have to take if you even want to find a restaurant. It's in a Thai residential area off the side of a highway. Very difficult to find and feels unsafe to leave the hostel after dark. The hostel was very clean and spacious. Wifi worked 80% of the time. Nice lounge area but you're not allowed to eat or drink in there, which is a shame
