I booked it with hostelworld but when I reached the hotel the owner didn't want to honor my reservation. Instead she said that she will check me in only if I pay double for what I booked it for. The half hour arguing didn't help and she still refused to accept my reservation. After 14 hours trip from Bangkok and a 40 degrees outside I had to pay what she asked me to which was not worth it.

Worst place we stayed in Vietnam and Lao. The rooms was the size of a cigarbox. The staff where more busy with music vidoes, than seeing the guests. Very very bad breakfast, one bread, margarine and a cup of almost cold the. Absolutely not impressing.

The first room we were in was soooo small. We changed the next night to a more expensive room with a balcony which we loved very much. The breakfast was only a baguette, butter, jam and coffee. The front desk people seemed a bit sullen, but they satisfied all of our requests.

Booked the standard double room which reminded me of a prison cell; very small with no windows. Bathroom clean but shower was not in a cubicle which I don't really like. The receptionist was fairly rude from check-in. It took quite a while to convince the staff that the air-conditioning did not work in the room. However, on the plus, was moved to a superior room which was much larger with a large window and working air-conditioning. Great location; but do not stay in standard double.
