Nice staff and owner. Not a party hostel when I was there but still social. Sometimes wait for showers but this can be typical in hostels. Location is a few blocks center in a commercial area, hence why it is good value. Stayed in a private room. Furniture and Bed sheets were a bit old.. Even by hostel standards. No organised activities so rely on other travelers.

Hostel was a bit of a walk from the centre but there were spacious common areas with a pool table! The staff were helpful. Grand place to stay while in Cordoba.

Nice, clean hostel with friendly, informative staff. Location was not great though and we didn't love Cordoba itself but it was good to see anyway and we felt very comfortable staying here during our trip!

Stayed in a private double room that felt like it hadn't been cleaned for a while. The kitchen was also really dirty, did not feel like cooking anything there.

We enjoyed the stay at the hostel. We had a nice room for two people, the bathroom is clean and breakfast is okay.

While the location is ehhhh cabs are cheap and plentiful. The staff is great, and there are lots of people hanging out in the common room and kitchen Plus they have a pool table. While I didn't enjoy the city of cordoba much, I had a great time at the hostel and enjoyed watching soccer and drinking beers with other travelers and the staff.

We didn't like the hostel. There was not enough bathrooms. We arrived to the hostel at 6 AM and when we asked if it's OK to eat breakfast with the rest of the guests, the receptionist told us that we can't, because we didn't do check in - this is not nice and usually in other hostels we ate with no problem at all. When we arrived early to other hotels, they always invited us to eat- It is not so critical but this is not nice welcoming. The dorms were too crowdy. The barbecue was very good.

Not enough bathrooms. For the rest, pretty good hostel. Double room giving in the patio isolates you from the noisy street.

Mate is an excellent hostel. The staff are really welcoming and helpful. There are excellent areas to sit and hang out till the early hours of the morning meeting your fellow travellers. Hopefully you stay there when there is an asado, not to be missed! Highly recommend this hostel.

One of the most laid back hostels I´ve stayed in. The staff where very friendly and helpful. We had a great Asado one night and the movie room is great after a long day sight seeing. Finally the location was perfect. The only disadvantage is that the rooms were a little bit small and it could do with an additional bathroom. But the atmosphere in the rest of the hostel makes up for it. Thank you

We felt that this hostel was very average and were surprised by its very high rating. It is located near furniture stores and hardware stores in the city. The common areas were very cramped and we were never really able to use the kitchen because it was so crowded. The kitchen was kind of dated and gross anyway.

Very friendly staff however they could improve their knowledge on the local activities to be more helpful. Other improvements that could be made to the hostel include basic things such as bathmats in the bathrooms, don´t clean the bathroom in the morning when everyone is waiting and kitchen cleanliness could improve. Also room one directly left after the stairs can get uncomfortably stuffy, desparately needs AC or a large fan.

Great Staff at this hostel, who love to hang out and chat with you when you are staying here. Every thing was very good, only slight thing was there was no AC and when we were there it was very hot in the dorm. Would stay here again in a heart beat!
