Great, helpful staff and a great location. Would have stayed longer but they were fully booked.

Rooms are little hot, Taipei was rainy and super humid during my mid-April stay. The rooms were somewhat cramped.

not bad location and pretty accessible. the staff were super cool, particularly bevis and kerwin. one (pretty serious) problem though; the shared dorm downstairs has no windows and is constantly stiflingly hot. what's more, the staff compulsively go in there every 10 minutes and switch off the lights. it's pitch black in there, all day and all night. i was reading on my bed one afternoon and a staff member switched off the lights without even checking to see if anyone was there. very uncool.

They were extremely disorganized when we got there as they had overbooked my bed. Ended up solving the matter by placing me in the female dorm at no extra cost.

When I stayed at the hostel, I left a necklect with a string and a piece of round plastic plate. I remembered I left it at the bethroom door at the basement. If you could find it, please let me know. I may send you a postal charge to send it to me. It is important to me. thank you for your attention. Caesar Wan

Definitely good..It's near a subway station and not that hard to find. 7-11 around the corner, and friendly staffs...Very clean.

The service was helpful and friendly. Main area is not bad. But I stayed in the Suite room, and when I got in our room, I found that the bathroom had not been cleaned! So gross! The sink was dirty, there was a ton of hair in the shower drain, and the trash had not been emptied. The lock on the door also wasn't very good.. you could probably push open the door to our room if you wanted to. There was noise in the lobby much later than the listed quiet time... I couldn't wait to leave.

The Hostel is small but adequate enough. It claims to be run by travellers, but what that means is that a few unmotivated English teachers get to live in the dorm for free in exchange for supposedly taking care of the place - though clearly none aspired to build a career in the hospitality industry. No one was ever at reception, or if they were, they'd hang around with their friends, who would take over the common areas. Staying at this hostel is like staying in a student dorm.

just remember to tell them when you expect to check out beforehand esp if it's gonna be before 10.00a.m. as there may not be a person at the counter so early but they do leave their emergency contact numbers so it should be fine. remember to bring your own adapters though! love the quirky signs they paste here and there. people are really friendly. cheers!

People there come from different parts of the world. If you want to know different people and different culture, it would be a great choice.

when i intended to check out in the morning a 9am, there were no staff there to handle it, aslo the contact number left at the counter did not work. I was i a hurry to catch my plane and get my deposit back ,so I had to go room by room and ask whether there were anybody working there. Maybe you should pay attention to that. Still a nice experience in your hostel.

Everything was great other than there was a couple of heaps of clothing at a side of the mixed dorms. That aside, the staff was very friendly, can speak good english and helpful too. The location is good. :)
