everything was great...only issues were the air quality in the basement. once we put the fan on and got some circulation it was much better

A nice and central hostel. The staff is very obliging, also the woman in charge really duzzling. I spend my night-time in a dorm, and have no problems with noise, dirt or anything. They are grand bathrooms clean and tidy. The TCP is in the thick of nightlife, fun and pleasure. For myself I just recommend the TCP!

It is the best hostel in town

The staff was fantastic, very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed visiting with them and the other interesting guests I met there. The place was very clean and safe. It was a short walk to the metro. I highly recommend it.

The best hostel I went to in Taipei (not Taiwan, there was even better in the south). Friendly and helpful staff (not overly friendly but friendly). The rooms are nice, very clean, good taste for the colours and furniture. There are lockers which is very important for me, and even more importantly the common areas (reception / kitchen and "lounge") are great to meet people. Lots of Asian people, too, which is a very good point. Good price. Rooms without windows, but that's common in Taipei.

The location of The Cat's Pajamas is good, five minutes walk from MRT Taipower Building and virtually 2 minutes walk from Shida night market.The whole place is cosy in some way. However, the room I stayed is in the basement, and the capacity is extremely tiny. The bad thing about living in the basement is the bad circulation. (Unfortunately, it can be smelly sometimes). The tiny space for each bed is acceptable, but not the dust and dirst on the top of the cabins and shelves.
