Best hostel I've ever stayed. Ideal location. Great staff. There are many hostels in kathmandu and its difficult to see how they are from photos of the buildings exterior a use the camera isn't pointed at what your walking out into and don't forget how noisy it is and dusty. This place is tucked away in quiet residtial side street like an oasis. At the same time its only a block from the ring road best way around town at only 20 rupee. Plus monkeys in the trees not your stuff. Temples 5 min walk

Fantastic hostel with amazing and very helpful staff. You must try the Nepali burger from their menu, one of the best burgers there is.

Liked this hostel for atmosphere. Good for meeting people. Breakfast is quite plain and they had no milk for coffee the first day. We booked a month and a half ahead and yet they didn't have our room and we were put in a lower budget room both nights. The mattresses were paper thin and quite uncomfortable. The blankets were also not appropriate to the weather, we froze both nights and had no hot water either day. The staff were great and tried to make us happy any way they could though.

The Hostel is locates in the north-west of Kathmandu right at the bottom of the Monkey temple. The staff is young and friendly, you can do laundry there and a really nice lady takes care of the cleaning. If you like an authentic area, that's the place to be. Very safe but usual out of power. Here you have time to turn off western lifestyle and turn on "Back to basic". That's why I came and I loved it!!! If you want a good night sleep, forget about it. The monkeys are nuts and killing the nights.

A very nice place with great service.
