Best hostel I have been in so far. Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, and give you a good introduction to the city and the hostel. They have a good bike-rental service which is very convenient for any traveller. Other people staying were all very friendly and happy with the hostel.

We didn't much research the place before hand, but when we got there and it was accommodation above a pub, we got excited. Turns out it wasn't as friendly as your typical irish pub(I know I live in Ireland) Overall the place was good, but head out to find some people to party with.. you

The "Bostel" is really cool, is compact, but we feel at home. It was very friendly and have a coffee of the highest good! The location is also nice, just a little hard to find the boat at night, but do not worry about it, when you find will have a great stay!

Amazing experience to stay in a boat! Jimmy is a great guy, and he is always there to help!
Hot water is available, and the breakfast is included in the price.
A lot of noise at night because the walls are very thin.

Really nice staff and friendly atmosphere. Breakfast is also quite nice.
Cabins a quite small but clean and practical, it's completely fine for a short stay . A bit expensive, but, it's Amsterdam ... !

the guy that seems to be the manager of the staff is quite rude to people checking in and out, the rest of the staff was good.
i would not recommend this hostel if you are not looking for party in amsterdam it is noisy, but maybe not as noisy as you would expect from a hostel in red light

This place is awesome. Great breakfast buffet (bread, meat, cheese, yoghurt, cereal, juice, tea, coffee etc.) = great value for £. Right on edge of the RLD, opposite Nemo Museum, and short walk from Zeedjik (China Town) , a street with loads of great restaurants of all kinds of cuisine

We stayed in an apartment in number 88 I think, and it was perfect as we were close to everything but had mad sanctuary when a bit of chill time was required.

Staff were ok, not much security tbh as anyone could really walk in, the bar area is very good, bedrooms try an opt for an apartment as there much better, we stayed in a 4 persons private which was clean, good pillows and clean towels etc. Best location.
