The swipe card to the door would not work so we had to go down to the reception and ask for a key to let us in.
The staff knew about this door and said it had been playing up for ages, but it wasnt fixed??
Also, I asked the staff questions and they didn't seem to know/want to know what

It was fine. I wasnt after anything too glamorous, just a crash pad during festival. For me it was annoyingly far from centre (ie 45 min walk) but the buses were easy enough. Security was good - pin codes on various doors which no longer worked once I checked out. Check in was a bit

Location was great, just few steps from bus stop also 5 minutes from the centre of the city. Room was clean, toilets and showers also, very nice! Free wifi in the social room

Good location, poor breakfast, average cleanliness. In general, it's a good hostel for a night or two in Brighton, worth the price. recommend
