The Carpe Noctem crew made my stay in Budapest unbelievable. Can't say enough about those guys and girls. Very clean, great location near the main train station and tons to do for a solo traveler.

Really good spot in the centre of the city, the staff are all amazing and organise the best nights out in Budapest from booze cruises to crazy thermal bath parties. The hostel itself is really cozy so it's easy to meet people and make friends.

LOVED staying at The Loft! We were in the private apartment but always felt part of the hostel. The location was awesome, within walking distance of all the cool places the staff recommended - their personalised maps made our trip!

Location was excellent, staff was helpful when needed. We rented the double bed private, which turned out to be a huge apartment, with a kitchen. But it was SO loud all night long and we were constantly woken up.

This is the hotel of hostels. Rooms are all well renovated. Bunk beds are a bit creaky but linens are clean and upkeep and cleaning is well above average.

The hostel itself was very nice the only issue with the hostel was the construction in front made it difficult to find on the first time. I would recommend improving the directions. Saying to cross the street underground from the #7 bus stop and then it will be behind the green iron gate.
