I was very impressed with the warm and informative welcome tour around the hostel. Only complaints are that oddly there was no bin in the room and maybe more activities to help guests to get to know each other should they wish to do so

Lovely homely hostel. No bunk beds which is FAB and the staff at the front desk are so friendly and helpful. Not a party hostel but it is only a 10 mins (max) walk to find a party.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. The staff make it a personal experience and really go the extra mile with activities for people staying there.
This place had some great character which makes it stand out from other hostels.

Facilities are very good. The staff is great, very helpful. Hostel is clean and overall well kept. Rooms are spacious without bunk beds. A slight downside is that it is a bit of a walk from town but they do have a shuttle that takes 5 min and runs both ways 9 times a day. Another potential

Great experience. My best ever backpacker's comparing ones in Brisbane, Bangkok, KL, HK... Fantastic location, beach view, esplanade...heaps of restaurants. 15 mins walking distance to the marine dock. The most grateful things are those lovely staffs- Hana, Arief etc. Thank you Caravella !

Nice hostel with good staff. It's a bit out of the way which was a bit annoying as it rained our whole time in Cairns so we got wet everytime we walked to town. Overall though, it's a very nice hostel.

Facilities are fairly basic, but for the amount you pay per night you can't complain! The free meal at the Woolshed is great. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the location is excellent.
