I had a wonderful experience. Booked a room for myself. I paid more than I expected because when I booked my room I didn't check the fees (taxes ) policy. I thought it would be helpful if there is more clarity in that regard. Great experience:-)!

The hostel was pretty dead for a weekend, The pub crawl was horrible and the staff was so so. Defenitivly not a place to party!!!!

I wish I had booked another hostel to be frank. It had a high atmosphere rating, but I felt like I was in a mortuary the whole time I was here. I have never seen so many exhausted & boring people who just want to rest their eyes on the couch. NOBODY wanted to party.

Really great place if you're travelling through Chicago and want to stay in a great neighbourhood close to bars, close to the train line, and a reasonable cab ride from many popular neighbourhoods/the beach/etc. Really great time, and great facilities.

The worst hostel ever. Somebody's hair was all over the bed. I think the bed cover was not washed before I checked in because it was so dirty. Wrong fire alarms rang twice in the middle of the night so I could not sleep at all. Franly, it was kind of scary. I regret that I reserved that

Good as a cheap option, my single room was the cheapest I could find and decent value for money. Not far to walk into the city,my taxi back from the loop at night was only $6. Breakfast was good apart from the owner watching you the whole time. Otherwise staff were friendly and atmosphere
