Generator Hostel Copenhagen
- Adelgade 7, Copenhagen
- 27 May 2012
The staff in particular was enormously helpful throughout our stay. They provided excellent restaurant and bar recommendations, and helped troubleshoot difficulties with flights, allowing us to use the house phone free of charge. If I am ever again in Copenhagen I will be sure to stay

Excellent Hostel, huge with nice breakfast, lounge and outside area on the 1st floor. Nice and comfortable rooms.
Low point was that luggage room was completely full and I had to leave my bag under the stairs.

Danhostel Copenhagen Downtown
- Vandkunsten 5, Copenhagen
- 23 May 2012
This is a party hostel, have no doubts about it; the beds are bunks and not specified as such. The only good thing about this place is that it's right near Tight (fantastic restaurant), Tivoli, and Copenhagen Central Station.

I found the hostel very noisy- there were lots of kids about and with the windows open to cope with the heat there was constant chatter. The room looked onto an alleyway as well where unfortunately the bins were kept so we didn't always have the most pleasant smells. However, it was cheap

Only stayed one night, but I found the hostel well located and with a friendly place. Is a quite big hostel, more like an hotel, but the bar at the entrance level as good to hang out! Can recommend.

Location was very good, breakfast was great, bath and showers were clean, too.
Only the beds were not that big (however, a hostel is not a 5-star hotel..)
So there is nothing else to complain.
