Loved it! Cosy bar downstairs with live music. The location of the hostel is great! Only minus for some is maybe the noise from the street or the bar downstairs.

Tracy was amazing!!! I arrived with no working bank cards and no Euros in cash. She allowed me to stay on deposit and merit until I could get it sorted, AND loaned me 20 euros for dinner and a few pints that first night!!!

We loved staying there, our 6 beds ensuite bedroom was good, only the bathroom was quite smelly.
Awesome staff, good location. Definitely recommend it.

I enjoyed my stay here but it definitely wasn't one of the best hostels I have stayed in. The people were very social but the rooms were so cramped and dark. The bathrooms also could have been a lot cleaner. I also wish the lockers were free.

Kinlay House Cork
- Bob and Joan's Walk, Shandon, Cork

A lot seemed to be out dated. Also, You couldn't take your room key out of the building which was unusual. Every time you came back in you had to ask the front desk to get your room key. If there was a line of people you had to wait or make your way to the front. Very Inconvenient.

Just another of those big hostels, but the kitchen and eating area are huge, as is the common/entertainment room. Staff were nice and tried to help when asked.
