I was expecting a lot better from this place given its high reviews. However, our room, which was supposed to be an ensuite, actually had a bathroom across the hall albeit private. The room was very cramped though and I had to share a bed with another person instead of having four separate More

STAY HERE!! The staff were very helpful and friendly - even carried my girlfriends bag up to our room. Wifi was fast and free. Rooms were clean & showers were hot. Only down sides were the view- our room looked out over an abandoned lot that had a heap of rubbish in it. Also the noise - More

Great hostel! I got bumped up from a 12-bed dorm to a 6-bed dorm. Free breakfast and events each night that are all free except for the pub crawl. Clean with a decent kitchen and common areas. Not to mention, definitely one of the friendliest hostels I've been in; the staff and other More

My girlfriend and I had a short but pleasant stay at Globetrotters. It is centrally located, the breakfast is as superb as recommended in other reviews (after receiving standard European breakfasts for the last few hostels it was nice to have some eggs and sausage), the staff are More

This was my first experience staying in a hostel and I would definitely recommend it to others. The staff was ready and willing to answer every question I had and the rooms were more spacious than I imagined. The breakfast was a little lacking but the downstairs facilities were awesome and More

Great location at the edge of the Temple Bar district, within walking distance of Trinity College, Brazen Head, Dublin Spire, and many other things. Safe and fun atmosphere without getting too rowdy. Large, clean common areas with a modern kitchen. We felt the twin private room with More

pros: great security, relatively clean, and you can lock your suitcase in cages under the beds. during the day they put your luggage in a closet. cons: I booked an all-female dorm room but realized during the night that they had also put men in the room. they basically saw that they More

The kitchen was great! Able to cook anything I felt like it (saved some money) and whenever I wanted to make a new friend I just headed to the kitchen. Although the hostel could use a bar. Temple Bar has too many random people to be considered the hostel's bar. More

Loved this hostel! It was really big to try to meet people so you need to get out of your bubble but it was super clean. My bed was labeled #1 and that bed was definitely used the night before and not changed. I just switched to a different bed in the room. Lots of bathroom space! More

Staff was very kind, but this time wasn't able to give information about some bus- or train connections from Dublin to Killarney which took us two hours on our journey the next day. But all in all we were very satisfied and sure that we will stay again someday at Abigail Hostel. More

This hostel is located under a railroad bridge, from morning to late night, trans unceasingly passed by and roared over the windows of our dorm, shaking heaven and earth. At the night on May 26 when I lodged there, some guys swarmed outside our dorm's window, they made uproar through the More
