Overall a good stay and a good hostel. The staff was helpful and the hostel has a good (clean) atmosphere. The walk to/from town can be a bit much in the winter because it's 10-15 blocks down/uphill. Definitely a recommended hostel for El Calafate.

The washroom floor had blood beside the garbage can when we checked in. We were hoping they might just be paint stains but when they were gone the next day we were very disgusted. Not sure why they weren't cleaned before we checked in. My friends bed had clothes tags from previous guest so

Great hostel! staff were excellent and the rooms were good!
only downside of the hostel is the wireless and internet. computer was really slow and interent didnt work. the other time the computer was dead.
but other than that it was a perfect experience!!

Everything was great! we loved it, except but the Kitchen, was very dirty, didn't have forks or knifes. No glasses neither. The refrigerator smelled bad ... No good at all.

Excellent value for money, however the breakfast can be improved. The hostal was very crowd, so at least 2 (two) toasters can be offered. Only one is impossible to use when there are a lot of people at the breakfast.

I had a very good time there! Everything is clean & the staff is really good. I have to say that the breakfast was specially good & full ! I warmly recommend this hostel!
