It was an excellent stay, as we expected from the comments we read before. As suggestions, we'd like to have had an extra security system to our room's door (card?) and reduced closure times (those for cleaning). We think that, since the rooms are not always cleaned, that could be done.

The entrance to Dany House was a little sketchy since it's under construction, but past first appearances, my friends and I had a great stay there. The staff is incredibly nice and offered us wine from his father's home as soon as we walked in the door. It's a very small hostel, but

One of the earlier reviews says that the staff was a racist. I felt the same. A guy in the reception desk treated me in condescending manner and I felt insulted. The other guy in the reception desk (they rotate) and woman in the morning were great. They were nice and kind. I wouldn't

Generally clean and secure. I only spent one night, and was very happy with the price. The staff were helpful and never hard to find. Dorms have free lockers, and large luggage could be stored in a secured area on another floor. There was a breakfast of coffee and cookies provided in the

This hostel was okay. It was quite inconvenient with reception only being open for a few hours. Also, we were told that we could store our bags the day we checked out, but when the time came we were told we could not. They were not very helpful. The rooms were good though.

Impressed with the room service provided (they made our beds) and the interesting keyboards at the computer terminals. However, the door was difficult to lock and unlock and we got woken up by the buzzing of mosquitos in the middle of the night. We also got bitten by said mosquitos.

A large hostel. The Ensuite Bathrooms weren't great, and our lock was broken. Their are also no lockers in the dorms. The all you can eat dinner is great for 10 Euro though. The hostel is too far from the central part of Florence for sight seeing and exploring.
