Very convenient location as it's the closest backpackers hostel I could find from the train station, though a bit of a hike to get to the door. Basic facilities, sufficient for 1/2 nights' stay. Love the wooden bunk (but not in all rooms), more sturdy than those assembled ones. Doors tend More

The shared shower had a hard time reaching a reasonable temperature (either way too hot or cold) with low water pressure, and the bathroom in general needs repairs (visible mold and water damage). More

A little more atention to the guests would be good. The front door was open all night. There was no reception. More

The kichen and sitting/dinning room needs to be larger for the number of guests using it. Other than that a hood hostel. More

Met a lot of amazing people in the common room! Good hot shower, wifi available, good location (because Fort William is a very small town). But I would appreciate if there is locker available in the room, though it's very safe in Scotland. More

The lady running the hostel is very friendly and accommodating. The shower had excellent power and the facilities seemed pretty good for a hostel and the cost. The only thing that might be useful is a lock on the door (we were in a four bed room so had the whole room). Unfortunately we More

No power points in the rooms is a major pain. Get some power points in the rooms and the place would be outstanding! More

Staff was very kind and they did their best. One guy seemed to be a little bit arrogant, but other members were so much nicer. Rooms were clean, but the building is rather old. However, there's nothing else good about it. The hostel is NOT in Fort William, nearest shop is quite far away, More

A great little place just north of Fort William. The rooms are basic but adequate. Bring an extension lead with you as the only power points are on the corridor outside the rooms. The kitchen facilities are good with everything you need to cook a good meal. The staff are friendly and easy More

Noisy Germans next door who kept banging their room door at 6am when going in and out. Potential to make the doors "non-springy"!?? Showers in the gents were "interesting". Two showers next to each other, without any partition! Strange... Also, no plug sockets in rooms to charge phones, More
