No communal feel to the hostel. Didn't allow much opportunity for engaging with fellow travellers. Disappointed with the cost off food and drink as they rivalled the prices of most restaurants in the area. Charging me 50 cent for a glass of tap water really disappointed me. More

No security at all. 1key for the room so anyone could walk into other rooms as they were always unlocked. Less than helpful staff. Most guests were closer to 100 than 30years old. Would not reccomend booking this place. More

Hostel Erottajanpuisto was excellent! The staff (both day and night shifts) were extremely helpful and friendly. I also felt very safe while I was there; there are lockers in each room that are no where near big enough to fit someone's entire pack into it, but I didn't have any worries More

Basically the hostel is a student dormitary which is used in Summer as a so called Summer Hostel. These type of facilities are quite common in Finland. Dormitary may not sound appealing at first but the facilities are very good actually as student dormitories in Finland are very modern and More

Student residence turned hostel in summer. Clean rooms, comfy beds, wifi only in small cramped common room. Absolutely no atmosphere. Recommended for families. More

Security is good. Location is good. Staff is OK. The kitchen is really dirty, the rooms are fine and big, the showers and toilets it depends, sometimes it is dirty, sometimes it is OK. Also, you have to pay for everything: laundry, breakfast (quite expensive), etc. The wifi works only in More

It was just OK, because the place has rather not very good maintenance. Some things are dirty but not many and you have to pay even for a teabag. The common area with wifi access is very small. I don't believe that a hostel stay at 29 euros for a night should be so uncomfortable. With this More
