The hostel is fine. The location great, but the building the hostel is in is hideous, disgusting, frightening, made worse by the poor access to it, and the throng of subcontinent men hanging around in groups giving the place an intimidating feel. I feel sorry for our host as he was warm

Kyoto Guest House
- Block A, 15th Floor, A3 & A8, Chung King Mansion, 36 - 44 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong

Very pleasant and welcoming staff. Small rooms, but that is to be expected for any hostel in this part of town. It's a great value for Hong Kong, especially if you have a very busy schedule and only need a place to sleep for the night.

Basic but functional. Excellent free wifi, plugs at every bed. En suite shower and bathroom in my dorm. Very close to subway system. No real common areas or life to the hostel. Just a place to sleep.

A bit of a cramped room but that's apparently to be expected in Hong Kong. Staff were helpful. The kitchen was a bit small but the microwave was useful. Shower head was ridiculously low. Would stay here again.
