The reception is 24 hour. The staff have provided extensive tour information for you to peruse and can help you with almost any issue you may have. Somehow, they provide drinks (beer) cheaper than just about any shop. I found the beds to be excellent, firm, with good pillows. I was lucky More

Friendly staff and very clean, comfortable rooms. Breakfast consisted of all you can eat toast, tea or coffee and some fruit. Ideal location for airport, local buses and everything you could need in town. Would stay here again. More

The hostel is safe (gate with PIN-code, free lockers), clean, cheap and in a great location (many restaurants, sunday market right in front, close to harbor). The staff is very friendly, they even invited me to have dinner with them in the hostel. They also offer free adapters for your More

Good place to stay for a night or two. Clean, fairly central (although the main entrance is around the back which makes the hostel look as if it's an abandoned hostel at first approach!), air con in dorm, free internet access, lockers provided free of charge. Negatives- no common area, More

According to website, there's locker provided, but there isn't any when I was there. Also it would be informative to know that the blanket is not provided and has to be rent instead. Other than that, the staff is very informative and friendly,at least one of them. Bed,toilet, everything is More

Lovely hostel with a great view from balcony especially when sunsets. It is a 2km walk from park entrance, but much cheaper prices than staying in the park. If you don't fancy the 20minute walk (30mins with big backpacks) you can get a taxi for 15MYR, but care taxi's can overcharge as have More

Located at the industrial end of town in a converted warehouse. Bed was comfy. Wifi didn't work at the beginning but once it did it was fast and remained that way all night. TV obviously had taken some damage and was pretty unwatchable. Breakfast was basic, as is to be expected from More

The hostel was fine, it is just far from the city centre. The private room was adequate. Annoying that we couldn't control the air conditioner in the room. They offer a lot of tours and day trips from the reception so it can be helpful if you want to organize through them. More

All the comman areas were very clean but the place was ridden with bed bugs. When i complained about being eaten alive the staff became very rude and basically just told me to leave. An awful first few days in Borneo due to Borneo Backpackers. Do NOT stay here!!!! More
