The staff were fantastic, very kind and helpful. I was unlucky to have the 4 bed dorm next to the front door and lobby, I assume the other rooms are better and have less traffic. More

Good sleep on a comfy bed in a quiet room. Common area was a little small. Free filtered water was a nice touch. Wifi was pretty good. Showers were great and have real hot water! More

Hostel was nice, staff were helpful and breakfast was fairly good. The internet isn't good - it works but it's slow/cuts out. The bathrooms could do with being done up - they're usable but as there's a shower in the toilet the floor is always wet, and they are very basic. That being said More

Stayed for a night and it was very pleasant. The staff were very nice and very accommodating. I'd recommend this place for backpackers looking for cheap yet at the same clean and amenable places to stay. More

Great location, rooms very small. Staff friendly but not overly helpful, the owners are not on site all the time are fantastic wealth of knowledge and happy to give advice. Breakfast is…. Melon and toast & jam, a little boring after a few days. Good places to eat nearby. More

Great central location. Spacious common area. Breakfast is included, but very simple (toast & tea). Wifi was mostly working, both reception and rooms. Only few plugs in dorm. Lockers opposite to reception, but these are not reliable, clearly tinkered previously. Very nice staff, Ok More

The good thing about this hostel is that is really close to the park and they also serve quite good food for a reasonable price. The bad thing is that is so cold in the night and they charge you if you want extra blankets which is ridiculous! The bed is also very uncomfortable. More

Out of all the places we stayed in Malaysia, Rina Ria was definitely the best - the views from all rooms and the restaurant are breathtaking and the staff are so friendly and helpful! More

Very basic hostel but in a great location right in the middle of Gaya street. My private double room was functional and clean but very basic with no windows. The TV had just 4 Channels in Chinese and Malay. Staff were friendly and they can organise trips for you. The help yourself basic More

Pros: cheap Cons: dirty, dark, musty, mattresses were thin foam so we felt the bunk metal underneath. No top sheet. Only bottom one which smelled as if it hadn't been changed in a while. No toilet paper. Was told to clean up the "Asian way." Messy. Disorganized. Beer cans left More

Stayed in the fan dorm. This was more than enough, since the weather gets cooler in the evening (I'd wake up in the middle of the night for a blanket). It was super cheap at only 12rm per night, but it's really far from kk center. I have no problem with walking from place to place, but More
