My wife & I enjoyed our stay in your ryokan-style room. The room was surprisingly bigger than expected, but the blankets are not quite clean and up to par with presence of hairs and other small foreign bodies.

The double room with ensuite bathroom was very small. It was hard to move around the bed! For the price, it might be cheaper for some people to stay at a hotel for that little of space.

Very good hostel and certainly lives up its reputation. The staff are extremely helpful and there is lots of usefull things you can avail of there such as bus tickets and maps etc.

Very average hostel...staff was very willing to help when you could find them. Nice eating area with food/snacks to buy. Security, anyone could walk in off the street, and if desk was unmanned, they could walk into my room easily. Beginning cleaning @ 8am when people are still sleeping =

We really had a great time at A-Yado! One of the best hostel we tried! The place was nice and clean, the staff friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was excellent! Moreover the location was great! really recommend it!
