Such a magnificent building to stay in! The private room was great and the cooking facilities were excellent. We used the dining room one night and enjoyed the meals on the menu. More

This hostel is very good. The room was clean and also the bathroom. The kitchen was very good to cook or just eat a meal. More

Water is too small for shower and sometimes water is too hot. There is not sufficient bathrooms to accommodate for 5 rooms. Waiting too long for the shower and toilet. Location is centered, near to the Windermere city centre and rail station. 15-20 mins walk to Windermere lake. More

I lived in a private room with a friend for two nights. The hostel is 10 minutes' walk from the bus station and 20 minutes' walk from the train station. The house was a bit old. The staff was really kind but not always available. More
