if your looking at this hostel cause youve stayed in one of the other USAhostels and loved them, look down the road to banana bungalow right now! I constantly felt like i was being ripped off at USA, they charge for all the pub crawls, no one ever offered me a free beer like in other USA

Staff were not very helpful, nor were they happy or nice. Our room was dirty, bathroom was dirty and even though the webpage said that the hostel had blow driers, there weren't any the first night. Our room was freezing cold because of the airconditioning, which was impossible to turn off.

Great place, although the guy that's sometimes at the door doesn't seem too pleased with you presence.
Oh, and don't be fooled, they'll charge taxes and etc, so it'll be $32 for the cheepest bed.

I wish I knew there were lockers in the rooms, I paid $5 for the ones downstairs then went to my room. This is a great hostel though, loved the common areas, beds and rooms were roomy. Thank you.

This hostel was difficult to find. The directions were unclear. Did not know if they were driving directions or something. They should just say it's next to Cecil and tell people to take the 733 bus from Union Station - what's hard about that? Lady at reception was rude. Seemed more

I stayed in a 6 bed mixed dorm, it was ensuite and it's own kitchen and cable tv. The breakfast was basic but good and the facilities and helpfulness of staff were excellent. My only issue was the noise at night, there were people in the communal area down in the courtyard playing

This place is everything you need in Venice Beach. Location is perfect, free internet and computers, theres free parking near by, breakfast is awesome waffles and the staff are super cool, really friendly. our 8 bed dorm had two bath rooms and was really big. loved the time i had there!
