All in all a very pleasant stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful, yet, could be a little bit more knowledgeable about local restaurants, bars etc. Still, I would really recommend this hostel to any Moscow tourist.

Liked: location in the center of Moscow. There are two toilets, bathroom, shower. At the entrance to give the chocolate :) dislikes uncomfortable very soft beds. This makes it difficult to sleep.

Great location close to metro, supermarket, Red Square & Kremlin. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The hostel appeared to be more for local Russians rather than genuine tourists.
The kitchen was poorly equipped, no hot water to wash dishes and always looked grubby .even though it was

Reasonably clean hostel but is old and requires refurbishment. No fun backpacker atmosphere. During our stay most other guests were Russian ( who generally don't speak English ) some of whom appear to be living there long term, no other western backpackers. Location was excellent though.

Location is good, just few blocks from Kremlin Red Square and shops...The only thing I didn't like about location is police that is looking for tourists with money so they can steal something from you..They stopped me right after Kremlin and stole my money and Iphone..So be Careful!

Great spot, staff very helpful, and as a visitor to Russia it was lovely to stay entirely with Russian people. Only thing I would ssy is when you book, ask for a room with a window. My room didn't have one, and it never occurred to me to ask.

Well hidden hostel, not easy to find.
Good to get to locations around the city, not great for nightlife though.
From what I understand, Moscow is not a great tourist Mecca and few hostels will offer the great fun, informative environment I would want, so this is as good as any.
