Friendly and helpful hostel owner who also provides breakfast for 300Yen. This is a nice and typical Japanese experience. More

A brilliant place to stay in Nara. The couple that operate the place are lovely. Make you feel at home. If staying thee, dont miss the breakfast - its awesome. The walks around Nara are awesome. More

Really lovely very Japanese hostel. The hosts were so welcoming and made you feel at home, you can tell they worried about us all being out late etc, very sweet. Not really a party hostel, but then Nara is not a party town, its a lovely place for a bit of R&R away from the big cities. More

The atnosphere of the hostel feels very stuffy and cramped. The rooms with bunk beds are very tiny and feel claustrophobic. The access to common area is time restricted which leaves no space for guests to rest or familiarise with one another. More

Great hostel in perfect location for exploring the sights of Nara. Staff talked us through a map of Nara on arrival and were happy to store bags. Super welcoming. The rooms are a good size and bathrooms totally spotless with out of this world shower water pressure. Big communal table More

A 100 year old Japanese house, what more can I say? If you are up for one-of-a-kind experience, this place definitely checks the box! Small place so it's better for those who are traveling light. Lovely garden right outside some of the rooms and the common area. 15 walk to Kintetsu-Nara More

Amazing place for people interested in old Japanese architecture, and Japanese culture in general. Worth visiting Nara for this place alone. Thank you to the lovely staff for the pleasant experience! More

The location is very closed to the JR station. But it not easy to find...but the station staff know the place, and would tell you where the place. And the guesthouse staff is very nice and helpful, their map is too cute, And we get one map to the park, the deer eat half of the map More

Stayed as a couple in 2 bed private on 4th floor, spacious and clean with good wifi. Only one shower on top level but didn't seem to be an issue as the hostel isn't huge so not long to wait. Also was able to store bags early before we checked in which was great. Location to train station More
