Hey, whoever is looking for a cheap, cosy and friendly place to stay, Bourbon hostel is the right place!
Some lazy punks will consider 1.5 miles distance from the downtown as a disadvantage.. the walk to city centre down the magazine street is great, safe and with beautiful bungalow style

We had a great time at India House Hostel. The staff was friendly and helpful and set the tone for the hostel. They helped us understand New Orleans's neighborhoods, where to find good music and how to stay safe. They are also excellent chefs! Wonderful grounds and everything was well

The internet was either not working or working extremely poorly for everyone..
Was clean enough to cover the minimum. The room which was actually something like a two stories bangalow was giving the impression of a desserted building, no security whatsoever, thin doorlocks..
