Polish chick that works there was cool.
Pretty far from The French quarter although it's only a few blocks from the trolley. We just caught a cab for $10

It has great character! We only stayed for one night but from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were greeted by friendly staff and travelers. Right next to a street car so very conveniently located!
