It was a very nice stay. Everyone was very friendly and the rooms were new and clean! the breakfast was good and while eating it was easy to get to know the other people in the hostel.
The location is close to the Spanish steps, so you can discover rome by walking.

The neighborhood location of Trastevere is wonderful and close enough to many sights that I rarely used public transportation, usually a 10 - 20 minute walk from the Vatican for example. The breakfast is pretty poor, but that is my only complaint.

Very good value. Though a little far to walk (20-30 minutes to Vatican/Colisseum), there were two close metro stations. Staff was very nice and helpful. Security was excellent. Bathrooms and bedrooms were clean. Breakfast was good. It was nice being close to the train station, too.

I had a poor time and didn't sleep but this was mostly because of a fellow dorm resident. I think the staff could have perhaps dealt with him a little better. They were reluctant to ask him to leave/reprimand him, or offer the other people in the dorm any kind of recompense (he brought

It's just like all the other anonymous hotel style hostels in Rome (I have been to four or five of them over the years). It's pretty close to the Yellow hostel bar if you're looking to meet other backpackers.
