Vila Madalena Hostel
- Rua Francisco Leitao, 686, Sao Paulo
- 6 Feb 2012
For the price they charge, not to include a good breakfast is not very good. Good location, good rooms (12 bed dorms quite stuffy) and good quality Internet. Good chilling out areas and bathrooms. No major issues but I would stay somewhere else next time. The staff came across a bit bossy

Casa Club Hostel Bar
- Rua Mourato Coelho 973 - Vila Madalena - Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo

Even though this hostel is relatively small, I really liked it. It was an awesome hostel to meet people with a bar downstairs and free to use computers and wifi. The staff were absolutely lovely, helpful and really easy to get along with. I would highly recommend this place, especially if

Okupe Hostel - Jardins
- Avenida Rebouças, 990, São Paulo - SP, Sao Paulo

-Internet never works... You have to manually reset the router yourself, and then it might work for another 5 minutes before it breaks again
-Lockers in the room can be forced open with one hand. 5 of 8 lockers worked in our room. I didn't get a locker for 2 days

The 3dogs Hostel is really easy to get to (only a few stops on the Metro from the Sao Paulo bus station), very clean, welcoming and well organised. The owner speaks excellent English, and provides a lot of helpful information for having a good time in Sao Paulo. Good kitchen for cooking
