Liked: not only free wifi but also free computers to use; good showers; clean western toilets with toilet paper and (usually) soap; comfy beds; there was a mosquito net on the window in my room (although another guest said there wasn't in his so maybe not in all the rooms); the free

Very clean hostel with nice staff! At the moment there are construction works going on which has a bit of a negative impact on the athmosphere and character. Overall good place to stay but there are definitely hostels with more charm in Shanghai.

Very good location, good price, nice and clean rooms, good atmosphere. Staff was a bit unpleasant when we asked for some help. But still I would recommend this hostel.

Quite happy with our stay at Le Tour Traveler's Rest. We were in a private twin room, it was comfortable and clean. It was an internal room, but still had a window to let light in. The staff were few, but all plesant enough. The location was the best thing, just a short taxi ride from most

Nice central location within walking distance of the Bund and close to Metro station.
Easy to find if you follow the hostel's directions.
Nice rooftop area for drinks and breakfast. Rooms quite small but very clean.
Only negative comment is that wifi often did not work.

Good location - walking distance to the Shanghai Museum & People's Square. Close to the metro as well. Staff were helpful for the most part, but not very friendly and it felt like they were annoyed when you would ask them a question. I liked that they served a good variety of food too. The

it was my second stay and I will come again next time I visit Shanghai. I pay for two in order to have a "private" room (I am too old for dormitories) and it is still a good value for the money. Location is excellent. Very convenient

I found the hostel itself to be good, but the girls behind the counter were NOT in keeping with the "cool, bohemian, laid-back" description of the place. They were rude and disrespectful, and that was disappointing. However, the guy behind the counter when I checked out was very courteous

I had a great time at this hostel! It is very close to the subway and the city centre. Nice staff, clean rooms and cheap prices for food and drinks. I met a nice foreigner outside of the hostel that lives very near who helped me with a lot, he has lived in this hostel before 4 years ago. I

Our family (including teens) found this a really comfortable and great value for money hostel. It was full, so we clearly weren't alone in feeling this way! Excellent helpful staff, we'd stay here again without hesitation.
