All in all we were very pleased with our stay in River City Inn, the only things I think they could improve on would be having the air con on more in the big dorm. Cleanliness was excellent, would definitely recommend this place!

This was our first time in Singapore and staying at Beary Nice! as well as Beary Best was a great way to experience this wonderful place. We thoroughly loved the location; it is great being able to step out of the hostel door and onto one of the best food spots in the city. The atmosphere

Rucksack Inn
- 33-B Hong Kong Street, Singapore
- 3 Feb 2012
2 showers and 2 toilets in 1 tiny room with soggy CARPET between - for the whole hostel, male and female. Shower doors a bit transparent too. We got the private room: no windows, smelled strongly of urine/bug spray/both. Luggage room has no shelves or door (just a curtain) and they let

The majority of hostels in Singapore are quite pricey... So when you factor that in, Rucksack is a decent bargain. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful but there is always something to be said about a 28 bed dorm. It can get quite noisy and the stale smell in the morning was less

This was one of the most interesting hostels I have stayed in - didn't feel like a hostel. The lady there (Anie?) treated us all like guests to her home. It is a small place - I met only around 7 people there but we all socialised together and were taken out to see the city/get food by

Pillows & Toast
- 40 Mosque Street, Singapore
- 26 Jan 2012
Location is good, close to Chinatown market and MRT station. Staff was pretty helpful. Kind of loud at night though, they have a smart key system to get into the rooms (which in theory sounds great), but it means that there is a loud beep and then the door slams every-time someone comes

For what if offered it was too expensive. Bathrooms upstairs were a combination of toilet with fitted showers. Many appliances - substandard - broken. Breakfast. What breakfast? And at the entry the girl was busy with her computer amusement. Polite? Yes. But that is not enough.

Stayed there for 2 nights and it was nice. The Hostel is a bit out of the City but easy to get there with train (15minute walk) and the bus just around the corner from the Hostel.
The common area was super nice, they have a fridge and little kitchen. The Restaurant downstairs offers great

friendly staff, good location close to MRT and bus, downside is that the dorms towards the street are very noisy. Could maybe invest in double glass?
