Sydney Harbour YHA
- 110 Cumberland St, The Rocks, Sydney
- 21 May 2012
Fantastic location! Easy hassle-free check-in. Very comfortable beds, nice sheets. Comfortable room temperature with the natural ventilation. Only problem we had was the shower needed a good scrub. I have cleaned in motels for years so I just assumed it would be stained grout, but gunk

Bounce Sydney
- Next to Central Station, 28 Chalmers St, Sydney
- 26 May 2012
I only stayed for one night and the hostel was very secure. I needed my keycard to get anywhere, including into the bathroom! It's located right across from the Central station so you can access anything easily.

Wake Up! is a great hostel with a couple flaws:
No free internet. This is really frustrating on a tight budget. On the other hand, since people aren't on the net 24/7, it's a bit faster than the free internet at other hostels.
There are no water fountains anywhere in the building. If you

Railway Square YHA
- 8-10 Lee Street, Sydney NSW 2000, Sydney
- 6 May 2012
I wish the information about how to reach the hostel was more detailed. The Sydney Central was not the most friendliest station for foreigners, it didn't have information which way out will lead to the exit where the hostel was located. I spent almost 30 minutes walking around dragging my

Stayed in 8 bed dorm, good mattress, locker is nice size, plenty of space, however, 307 can be noisy being next to train tracks. Plenty of room in kitchen, all cooking utensils available, large fridges for all, plenty of cook tops. Close to McDonalds where you can get free internet wifi

Eva's Backpackers
- 6-8 Orwell Street, Kings Cross, Sydney
- 19 May 2012
The kitchen was too small for that huge bunch of people staying there. They have a rooftop chill out area which is great. Nevertheless the rooms are very small and you fell like caged in.

We had a great stay at this hostel. It may not be right on the main strip of attractions but it is no more than a 20 minute walk from the main attractions of Sydney. The room we stayed in was extremely clean and spacious, but a little chilly. Everyone was helpful and friendly. I would

790 on George
- 790 George Street, Sydney, Sydney
- 13 May 2012
Area is loud, staff were not overly friendly or helpful. Only a few benefits of the location is the free shuttle to downtown, otherwise it can be a long walk back to the hostel, as well, many of the activity booking agencies are located in close proximity.
