The location is excellent. I love the rooftop. Atmosphere was great. VERY clean. Staff were nice and helpful but lack of smile but other than that, I was pretty much happy with the stay :)

Very nice hostel! Staff is exceptionally lovely, especially branco and sasha and Effie, she's a gem! The hostel is very little so you get to know people. Potts point is a charming little part of Sydney! It's close to the harbour and the Botanical gardens. Would recommend anyone to stay

Self contained room was very clean, quiet and able to be darkened for sleeping. Good to have a jug, tea, coffee etc in the room. Kitchen area was clean and well maintained. Lounge areas spacious and comfortable. Not cheap for a single person but reasonable value considering the location.

I was really impressed. The place is clean and the staff professional and unbelievably helpful. It;s probably the best hostel I've staying in so far. The location is fantastic: the aquarium, the observatory, the opera house, the harbor bridge and probably a lot more stuff, are all within

I got a different opinion from what I mostly read. The hostel is pretty well located but has nothing special to claim it as the 'best hotel' in town.
It lacks of atmosphere, certainly because many rules are just written everywhere and the main common area is closed from 10pm.

Stayed in an 8 bed dorm, bed bugs everywhere. A lot of pedantic rules, a 40 dollar key deposit - money that I could have really used in my last few days in Australia! - and the wifi is so slow it's painful. Seems to be a lot of money grabbing going on, and the lack of character is added to

Not a bad place to stay. Good facilities close by and nice bar, there were only 2 of us in the 4 bed dorm both nights I was there. Fairly quiet atmosphere the whole time. toilets were for the most part clean, showers less so, and 2 sets of used linen in our room weren't collected. Staff

Just a little criticism is that we hear everything outside the room. The street and just the doors closing are making noise wich is totally normal but the isolation is not enough strong. That is all otherwise it was perfect !

I stayed for 3 nights. The hostel is good, prety clean, very good atmosphere. Breakfast and wifi includes.
the bad thing is that is just next to de metro station, in the red light district, so there is a lot of junkys and homeless, maybe drunk too, but they are not dangerous, just ugly

7th floor bathroom needs complete overhaul. Toilets rarely flush, sinks have poor water pressure and it is generally quite revolting.
One kitchen was closed for about a week.
Too many girls with suitcases who packed and zipped long and loud and late at night, who switched the light

This is a good hostel. Good facilities, clean rooms and a really good kitchen + Chillarea. Further more they have special events every like going out, or football, or dinners. The only criticism is that they didn't give us the discount for VIP-Backerpackers, although they had advertising
