Best place I stayed while in CR. 200% would stay here again. Nice social hangout area. I think one night almost every person from the entire hostel was sitting at a group of tables together. Good security at gate @night. The door/lock on the door to our dorm (lower floor/left room) More

Location is prime for a hostel, especially considering the price. The quality of the actual dorm we stayed in was below average, mostly due to the lack of cleanliness in the bathroom. Kind of a weird vibe in general. We made friends with everyone there because it was so small, but this More

Great hostel to stay at while surfing for a few days in Tamarindo! Pura Vida mini hostel has a communal vibe with an inviting, chill atmosphere, and staff offered really helpful information about town, surf shops, yoga studios, restaurants to check out, etc. Definitely recommend!! More

This hostel was amazing. The staff were incredible and made you feel like part of the Family. Tomas was especially awesome and helpful with everything you need. I had only intended on staying here a few days but ended up extending my trip and even came back! More

It really bugged me that the mixed room I was staying in had no locks, I do not mind sharing a room but I did not like that anyone could just walk in... the staff would use our bathroom as their own. It also was not the cleanest. Overall the staff was friendly. More
