This is a fantastic hostel! We stayed in a four person private room - the en-suite bathrooms are great. We loved the whole atmosphere of the place especially the front area and "living room". We were supposed to move to a hotel but decided we liked the hostel better and stayed there

I was very impressed with the whole experience. The hostel staff is fantastic. I will likely choose K's house over a hotel in the future. This was an amazing first impression.

Great hostel, lots of events for socialising, knowledgeable and helpful staff. I can see why it scores so highly. Good fun. The only downside is the 7 bed dorm really needs some storage space.

Khaosan Tokyo Ninja
- 2-5-1 Bakurocho Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo
- 24 May 2012
Can be hard to sleep at times in the main room by the reception due to constant noise. Also the only train line near by goes to Tokyo station and has no fast access to Akihabara. Its about a 15 minute walk to Akiba, which is fine but after a long day of walking and you want to return to

Really nice hostel for the price. Good location, clean bathroom, the only problem was the bedroom (too small).

Khaosan Tokyo Samurai
- 1-18-3 Higashi Komagata, Tokyo
- 20 May 2012
it was a really nice hostel, but i was not that happy with my bed as it had suspicious spots, but the others was better so i guess is about luck. the location is good, as most hostels are around this zone, though the real attractions are more in the ginza.

It was a nice size hostel with great amenities. My friend and I stayed here for a couple days while in Tokyo, and it was in a nice quiet neighborhood, close to the Asakusa Subway station that made it easy to get anywhere in the city. I would definitely stay here again.

Anne Hostel Asakusabashi
- 2-21-14, Yanagibashi, Taito-ku, Tokyo
- 30 May 2012
The location is very good. Near to both JR and metro station and only ~15 min walk to Akihabara. Clean and nice. Very well instructed. Only minus comes from the security. The rooms have keys into them and people are asked to lock the doors when leaving the room but nobody did that at least

Juyoh Hotel
- 2-15-3 Kiyokawa Taito-ku, Tokyo
- 19 May 2012
It's a good option in Asakusa, 10 min walk from the nearest station, can reach Asakusa enjoying a 20 min walk south. Recommend the hot tub, you can reserve it for an hour, it's on the top floor and has a nice view of town. Good option in the budget range.

I've been to tons of hostels, but I am a big fan of the party hostels where there are lots of people looking for friends at the hostel to meet and travel with. However, since we were traveling with my roommate's mother, we figured a more quiet and calm hostel would be for the better.
