The hostel is extremely expensive for what it is (50USD a night for a 6 bed mix dorm). There is simply no ambience there; pretty much like in every other HI hostel. There is no kitchen and the food at the restaurant\cafeteria is quite expensive a well (18.50CHF for dinner). The location is

There are no kitchen facilities - it would have been great if we could have made a cup of tea etc at least!
Our room had previously had smokers in it - and it stunk for most of the stay.
Breakfast was supplied and it was very good. (Although would have liked some toast).

Average. No sheets, average bathrooms, there's a kitchen, close to everything, lots of stairs. It's cheap, considering it's in Zurich
