The latest Hostelworld.com podcast, “Buenos Aires – A city tour”, comes to you from the capital and largest city of Argentina. In it, Hostelworld.com’s Colm Hanratty talks to Mariana Gallow of Travel Line tours in Buenos Aires about their ‘Traditional Buenos Aires City Tour’.

Buenos Aires is a large city, dividing into numerous different ‘barrios’ or neighbourhoods. In this podcast, you’ll hear about some of the most popular neighbourhoods and attractions.

One such neighbourhood is Recoleta, which is home to the Recoleta Cemetery. Here you’ll find the graves of many notable figures from the country’s history including Evita. Palemro, another well-loved neighbourhood, is also featured in the podcast, and boasts attractions like the Buenos Aires Zoo, the Planetarium and many more. You’ll learn about the Ninth of July Avenue, which is the world’s widest avenue, and is home to the Obelisk, one of Argentina’s most recognisable monuments.

You’ll find all this and more in “Buenos Aires – A city tour”, which is one of many Hostelworld.com podcasts covering destinations from all around the world. You can listen to all these podcasts online or download them here.
