Koh Chang in Thailand and South Korea’s Seoul and Jeju Island are three of the latest destinations with new properties now featured on our site. This week, we also welcome a great new property from Muang Ngoi Neua in Laos and Osaka Japan’s Guest House la Kongo.
Enjoy the cool tropical atmosphere offered by Thailand in Koh Chang’s Paradise Cottage (pictured here). Picturesque beach sunsets will provide a memorable experience and an excellent chance to get some great photos. The cocktail bar, pool table, tour programs and WiFi service ensure you will always have something to do. The restaurant is open every morning from 8am and closes at 9pm, so be sure to try out some Thai cuisine while you’re here.
Guest House la Kongo, located in the bustling Dotonbori area of Osaka, is perfectly situated for taking advantage of the local Japanese arcades and tourist attractions. And when hunger strikes, the restaurant provides breakfast, lunch and dinner using both local and continental ingredients. Rooms come with soap, shampoo and towels, and the coin-operated laundry machine is free of charge.
If you’re travelling around Myeongdong in Seoul, then you can stop by the Zaza Backpackers Hostel. It boasts a fantastic and convenient position right in the center of Seoul and as such is ideal for planning any trips or excursions that tickle your fancy, such as a visit to the Samsung Tower Palace. To combat the intense summer heat of South Korea, the rooms in the hostel come with air conditioning, as well as their own private bathrooms.
In the Muang Ngoi Neua region of Laos, The Boat Landing Bungalow is a great place to spend a few nights. Outdoor activities around the Eco-Lodge such as biking and rafting are a great way to appreciate the local environment, and the restaurant specialises in Lao cuisine with a wide variety of vegetarian dishes available. Situated only 1km from the airport, this lodge is particularly convenient if you don’t want to spend hours travelling right after you touch down in Laos.
For those who prefer calmer, natural and more rural surroundings, the Joesph Tree Guest House is a great spot. It is located on a small, peaceful village on South Korea’s Jeju Island, and is a mere five minute walk from the beach. In the locality are attractions such as Seongsan Ilchungbong (sunrise peak) and Manjanggul (one of the world’s longest lava tunnels). This is a great place to relax in quiet with the chance to share stories with other travellers.
