I'm in Manila now. Just came back from my 40-day European sojourn. I stayed in Rome a while, then passed by Florence and Milan. Before that, I did a tour of Spain for 10 days. Anyhow, after Italy, I went to France where I spent 1/3 of my vacation, before I spent the last leg of my vacation in Brussels, then Amsterdam.

I missed being in my country. I realized the natural beauty of many known and unknown destinations here far exceed everything i've seen so far in my trips around Asia and Europe. But of course, the great European cities have a charm of their own, especially with the rich history that gives meaning to the many monuments and edifices around.

I am not sure about visiting Europe in the near future bcoz my next destinations would be Japan, Australia, New Zealand and India... hopefully towards the end of the year and long weekends/holidays of 2009.

I don't speak Italian, except being ably to say few things like what's on the dinner table, but your english sounds very good.

Mia ragazza lives in a town near Padova and will be here in about 2 days and will stay for about 2 months before I go back, but I think that I will be in Padova in January.
I plan to go to Lago de Garda next summer, but so far I've only been to Lago de Mazzano up by Como.

I live up by Padova and Rovigo a couple of months each year, and I visited Brescia on my way to sweden. Next time I'll be there during the summer, and I was wondering what the temperatures are like in July or August.

Well I’m not from Madrid but from Barcelona. Anyway, Madrid is a city I know quite well, since I’ve been to there several times recently... it’s a city I love because it’s always alive ... you can find people in the street at any time... party every night... and a good cultural scene year round. So it doesn’t matter what you are looking for...you can find it there. If you get fed up with so many people nd so many cars ... you can lways take a train to Toledo or Segovia... two cities 100 km each away from Madrid. They both are filled with history, amazing buildings ... all in all, nice cities that won’t disappoint you. Once you are in Madrid, ask for a squid sandwich – bocadillo de calamares. This is the most typical sandwich in the city... strange enough since Madrid is not by the seaside... hehehe... try it with some lemon on the squids... I’m sure you will end up saying “parapapa I’m lovin’ it”... As for party, a very important topic... well all the city is full of clubs and bars... so you will not have big problems about finding a place with lots of people and music... have a nice time in Madrid and take care!
