I would recommend north Luzon with high lush mountains,cool air and lovely small towns like Sagada,Bontac and Batad.
Ofcourse you have the rice paddies there aswell!
I liked Luzon very mutch, more then the rest of the islands....
Phillipines is awsome!

Hi Mark, What trips have you been on lately? Hubby & I going to Europe for the 1st time. We are back packing & going the hostel way. Any suggestions on the rail passes? I know France will be a must due to the cost of their trains rer or high speed. Italy is very cheap & pass not needed. We are also going to Germany, Austria, London, Amsterdam! wuwhoo! the best one would be a mud bath spa at the 5 star hotel nearby. The cheapest would be the Amman beach. Just 5JD you could get into the beach and take your dip. For the mud part.. dont go deep into the water it'll be nothing but black sands. Just maybe about knees high and dig deep until you feel a gooey sticky type of dirt. That's the mud... dig in and splat it all over your body and go lay on the beach. If you go around this time it might still be okay in the afternoon but in the summer the sands are just too hot to walk on it. Have a great time.
