hey :)

I hope I could help you with my insider-tips, you're welcome!

at the moment, there is a lot of snow, so I think your sister will see much of it! it is so beautiful!

yes, you are right, your hotel is right in the center, so you are at the right place! And if you like sports, then you will definitely like Innsbruck in winter!!

I have been to Ireland last year in summer. We visited Dublin and Galway, and we also did some day tours, so it was quite interesting! I really liked Connemara!! This is such a beautiful place!! I'm planning to go to London in February (just for some days).

Have a nice day!

hey anthony!

yeah, great that you are planning a trip to Innsbruck. First of all: I LOVE IRELAND :)

Okay, what can I say to your trip. Unfortunately, you won't see our famour christkindlmarkt, which is a kind of market where you can get all stuff for christmas and where you can eat and eat and eat .. ;) But if you like doing sports in winter, Innsbruck is a great city. Around the city there are beautiful towns and even if you are just interested into a marvellous panorama, you should take the Hungerburgbahn and go by it on the top of the mountain Nordkette. It is really beautiful!

You should have seen the old town with our famous "Goldenes Dachl" right in the centre. Next to it you find the river Inn and the castle. The old town is also a fine starting point for long shopping tours.

Maybe you are also interested in the university and the library. It is one of the biggest libraries in whole Austria.

Innsbruck's advantage is that it is not very big and therefore it is easy to get around by bus or even on foot.

Innsbruck is in the centre of Tyrol and therefore the perfect starting point for day trips to South Tyrol and Venice (Italy).

If you are interested in other things, don't hesitate to ask me :) I'm your local guide!

Hi from Athens,
if you plan to visit Athens then you should better avoid July and August while heat can be very stressing. Spring and Autumn are best time of the year when the climate is mild but still sunny.
There are several festivals running during summer months with most famous the Hellenic Festival (in ancient theaters under Acropolis and Epidaurus).
If you are interesting in running then there is the 'Athens Classic Marathon' that takes place every year in Autumn and includes several different races with most famous the classic race from Marathon to Athens! you can find more info at www.athensclassicmarathon.gr
Apart from that, a visit to Athens includes a lot of sightseeing, ruins etc and also great one day trips to close by islands, so there are many things to do if you decide to come!
Cheers!

I'd recommend the 3rd week of September. We are celebrating the Mercè festivity, the whole city is beautiful, and there are plenty of cultural activities you can choose (concerts, open air theatres, etc). The best thing you can do is not to pick up a touristic bus and focus on pleasant historical walks across avenues and alleys. And also meet up people in pubs :)
Hope you enjoy your visit!

Hey there - I am actually nit in Prague till Aug 11th but I hear that there is a lot to see and take in and I am planning on makring the trek to Kutná Hora a picturesque village one hour from Prague, both famous and
infamous for its ossuary, a chapel filled with artistic and religious creations made
entirely from parts of the human skeleton.
