wow, thanks for the response, it is greatly appreciated.
while the action park sounds interesting, I think we are trying to stay away from consumerist styled stuff (considering we are utterly surrounded by it at home) and stick strictly to getting a good feel for the culture in Peru. I have a few questions if you do not mind. Again, greatly appreciated.
1. What Inca Trail hike do you personally suggest? we were thinking a 2 day hike, or something of that kind, since we are limited on time. We want to see the Sacred Valley, but want to be safe. If there is anything you know of that is unique, and stands out, please let me know!
2. What is the best way to really get a cultured feel for the indigenous peoples of Peru, especially in the Cuzco area?
3. Do you think a Spanish translation book will suffice, or should I get one that is Quecha/Spanish?
4. Is there ANY way to get to Iquitos in the Amazon, from Cuzco, or would I have to return back to Lima first?
5. What have you loved experiencing most since you have been in Cuzco?
Thank you, thank you, thank you. If I see you in May, I will most certainly buy you a drink.
