Hi , my name is Sturt, living in Wales UK .Been to S Africa, Switzerland ,France,Italy,and Spain , not forgetting Scotland and London, backpacking this year. Planning on going out to Malaysia KL and travel peninsular hoping to go to Perhentian islands and Langkawi. Going at end of January for 3 weeks , is it wise to go to the islands as still monsoon season ???

I went to KL in March and it was great weather (expect muggy of course but you get that all year round).
