Haha Livonia is not really very exciting. It's in the U.S. but it's just a boring suburb. I don't recommend you ever take a trip to Livonia, but there are plenty of other great places to visit in the U.S. Indonesia looks like a beautiful country from the photos I've seen. Did you make your trip to Thailand yet? Phuket is #1 on my list of places to go someday!

One day will come back, finish the trip there ^^ And the rainforest is definetely awsome !! The best I've never visited :) I prefer Borneo than Bangkok... too busy !! To reply to you, come from French Alps, just near Italy and Swiss. Great place also :) White Mount 4807 meters !!!! You can see one pics about this mountain in my page ^^ Here, this summer, we don't have rainforest, but we have a lot lot rain !!!!!! ^^ Hope you will be beter and you're Dad too !! when you go to phuket, you have to be careful because sometimes you can have some of your stuff stolen when you are not looking. there is police there to help in case if something bad happen.

In Phuket, there is no conflicts and problems between Buddhists and Muslims. It is about 90-10. However, don't worry about it. Have fun! If you have any question, you can ask me all the time.

hi again, it's very safe to be in Phuket as travelers, group or singles. things to be aware for since you & friends are "Asian females" can be that you may be mistaken as local Thais, hence the western males can't distinguish the difference culture between us, thus don't be surprise if you get invitations for drinks, dates or sex from europeans sex tourists. you can walk every where in Patong, but if you need to go outside of the town, the only mode of transport is run by the Mafia, they are called Tuk Tuk, and you will be shocked on how much they will charge for a short travel of a few km. It's not cheap, and really there's no other alternatives for transportation unless you hire a motorbike and drive yourself, if you are comfortable driving on 2 wheels & have a license. remember to wear helmet, or you will get a very big fine from the police. Have fun though, and please be careful on the beach, this is our surfing season, so lots of waves and strong undertow; very dangerous for swimmers.

Hi, traveling to Phuket is very safe. The island is about 50-50 in Buddists & Muslims and expats. However, as a young Muslim woman, Patong Beach is not very attractive, as it is sexually very open, Bangla Rd full of bars open for prositutes, transexual shows, etc. You may want to venture toward the beaches further south of the island, Kata Beach or north to Kamala Beach for quieter places and less westernized. either way, the Thai people are very friendly, so just smile & enjoy the food, but remember to ask if the dish has pork or not...
