Hi!
In my opinion the hostel is too expensive, allthough it is not far from the subway and the Public Library is in walking distance(free internet access). Also there is a shopping mall and several fast food restaurants only a few blocks away. But everthing in Boston is easy and fast getting to just walking and looking at it that way I would say it is not really centered in the city (downtown). Personally i found the rooms were too small and the showers were only o.k. But maybee I´m too picky about that. If you have a laptop you can get free wireless internet. There is a kitchen which you can use to cook your own food, because they only serve breakfast in the morning (bagels, butter, jam, coffee, tea), but you should wash the plates that you use also before the use...you never know. I hope I didn´t say too many bad things about the hostel, in all i had a really great time and it was so easy getting to know people and the staff was really nice too. I hope you enjoy your time, have fun! You should definitely check out the Aquarium!!!

The hostel is in a great location. You can walk to the art museums, shopping, downtown. It is only two blocks from the subway, which you can take to Fenway Park. There is a big kitchen/breakfast area. The hostel was really busy when I was there so I had to get up really early to avoid a line at the showers! The hostel plans a free activity everyday. You should check that out. Have fun!
