About me

My ultimate dream is to travel all around the world stopping in each country for a few weeks or months!! So far I have only traveled around North America, Europe and the Middle East. My most recent trips were to Dubai (home to the world's tallest building), Hamburg and New York. Back home in Cary, NC, I organize the Sushi and Sake meetup group which meets once a week to try out sushi places in the triangle.

My Travel Tip

Hey Edwin... Rail venture is over, great time!! How did you like Hamburg? Did you get a chance to make it up to Lubeck or down to Bremen? They're both great with fantastic old towns! I didn't get to eat at my favorite Thai restaurant in Hamburg this time though :(

Hey E! Dubai is pretty cool. But you can't just move here, you need to have a company sponsoring you. If you have american passport you can enter the country no problem for like 60 days I think. So plan ahead and set up some interviews then come and try to get work. You can google search "Dubai jobs" or jobs in Dubai, etc... and you'll find lots of stuff. Good luck!

Hi Alphonso!

Thanks a lot for your message, but I'm very Sorry I wont be in Hamburg on 12th and 13th of October. I am on vacancies in London for a week.
So, I wish you a good journey and hope you will enjoy my beatiful hometown. You need to visit the harbour (Subwayline U3 oder city train S1 or S3 station "Landungsbrücken") in the ships we call "Barkasse" an go for a tour in the "Speicherstadt". I would also recommend visiting The Town hall (it is amazing) and the Church St. Michaelis (we call it "Michel"). You should not miss the Reeperbahn ("Kiez" city train line S1 or S3 station "Reeperbahn") at night or go in the "Schanzenviertel" (subway-line U3 Station "Sternschanze") where you can relax in nice Cocktailbars. For shopping there is the "Mönckebergstrasse" (inner city near the central station) and the "europa-passage" near the "Jungfernstieg" (S1, S3, U1, U2, U3) next to the Jungfernstieg there is the Alster. So I hope I could give you some information about Hamburg and what I've written It is not too confusingly.

Best wishes
Nicole
