I agree that Cork is a gr8 place to go but travel up the West Coast to Killarney and to The Dingle Peninsula also. The Ring of Kerry has incredible scenery but gets busy with tourists in the busy times.

Hey Garro, There are some really good things to see in Cork. There is the Blarney Castle, which is a really good thing toi see, you can kiss hte blarney stoine while you are there. The crawfrod art Gallery . Also there is an Art Gallery on Lavitts Quay. Always different things on there. There is a lways an assortment of festivals on around the city centre. Also If you have time, west cork is a brillant place to visit. The people are really friendly & there ois lots of really nice trhings to see. Clonakility is a small town down that way which is a lot of fun to go on a sessions on.
I hope thats of some help to you. If there is anything specific that you are thinking about seeing let me know & I will see if I have any info on it.
Akso It seems that you are traveling around Ireland a little bit. Galway is 1 of the best places to go In Ireland. If you could get around the connamara ring it would be really worth seeing.
