Rome...wow, fav city in Europe. Went to a million marijuana march around the colosseum, Ostia is a great beach for everything. The Vatican is too big for one weekend but a must see. I stayed at Scandeluzza Castle, 60 euro a night, but cmon its a real Castle, i met the Prince and everything. Its here on Hostelworld if you wanna look it up. Any more info just yell, see ya.

I know you'll have SOOOO much fun in London. Definitely check out the Tate Modern museum right on the River Thames. They have a great Carsten Holler exhibit with huge slides that you slide down! so much fun!

Hi, I will be in rome on the 22nd of May then going to Florence on the 25th then on to Venice on the 27th of May. This is my first time in Italy, but I will fill you in on tips from trip when I get back to the states on the 11th of June.

Getting back to you about my eurotrip 2007. Will be in Italy from the 22nd of may through the 30th. Will probably going to be in florence around the 25th. Then on to Venice. I would totally recommend staying in Padua and just taking the train to Venice

hi..paris is fantastic..i will go again in august for vacation..one tip...if you like ices cream, you do not leave to visit “bestillon” behind the church of notredame. they are the best ones of the world.

Answering your question about Italy... well, my tip is: do try to mix with italian people as much as you can. their way of living life is amazing.. they are always smiley, cheerful and pleasant. Avoid turistic places when it comes to eat or going out - you already knew this... hehe - and as i see you are going to Florence... take a bus to Siena ... a beautifult town in Tuscany ... not far away from Siena... there is a town named San Gimgnano ...to get to there take the bus from siena itself with a change of buses in Poggibonsi .. (the bus to San Gimignano stops at the same bus stop than the one covering the line Florence - Siena. Next to Florence you also have Pisa... which can be visited in a day-trip... don't just visit the tower... but do take a walk in the city... is a pleasant place to walk in. mmm! another thing which you already know... be careful with pickpocketing... specially with those old gypsy women.... also be specially careful in Termini station in Rome. Great... i hope your boyfriend's gonna like to travel. You're so lucky to go in europe, i never been there yet... one day i hope!!!
so, you absolutly have to come in montreal if you plan to come in canada, in summer time is better of course... and vancouver looks nice to but i never been there... Mexico is really nice, i just spent 1 week, but was hawsome, and party, party, party!!! ;-). i'll probably go back in one year...

Hey Helen, nice to meet you! This will be my first time going to Italy. I'll be travelling for 2 wks starting 27th April. Planning on hitting up Zurich, Rome, Florence, Milan, Andalucia, and Madrid. Let me know if you've got any tips for these places... I'll tell you about Florence when I get back!
