Didn't make it, the friend I was going to be staying with broke up with her boyfriend (ie:threw him out of the house) and it wasn't a good time to visit. I'm up in Canada now... I've got a flight booked to Denver from LA on 3/29 and may well use that for a last bit of spring skiing before I head back, will keep you posted.

I fell a bit guilty, being so happy about weather conditions that are making life hard for so many people (who don't ski) in the US, at the moment. But...You just gotta love that fresh powder snow.

She and her Czech boyfriend are giving me some of their limited $40 vouchers. So with a free room, it should be a cheap week, thank God!!!

It's all up to you... Urban Age is downtown, has no curfew, and got good service reviews. Big John's looks like a much larger place with more amenities (but more rules), and also excellent service. It's essential to have a good staff as a concierge, anywhere. Likely we both got a good match.
