Fortunately to receive a scholarship to further study in Europe, which opens an opportunity for me to tour around Europe.
Travel with friends is good, but make sure they share the same travel characteristics with you. Otherwise, expect disaster and ruin of friendship.

I can't really see your face well in your picture, but your profile about getting a scholarship to study in Europe made it sound like you weren't from there. It's a shame your flat mates in Oslo laughed. Practice is the only real way to learn. It's kind of a shame so much of the world speaks English. It'd be a lot more fun if we had to learn one another's languages. Don't you think?

I also meant to ask- how was your time in Scandanavia? Do you speak any Scandanavian languages? I'm heading to Iceland this summer and am trying to teach myself Icelandic beforehand, which seems close to Norweigian and Swedish. Where are you from originally?

It sounded like there may have been a little experience behind the statement. I can relate. Two of us drove from Alaska to Arizona last year (3,800 miles). We were really close when the trip started, but halfway through Canada we wanted to stangle each other. :) All's good now. Did you reconcile with your friends over time?

Hi JiannChyuan! I like your travel advice. I've been debating if I should invite people to travel with me or not and have been weary of the "disaster" and ruined friendship, as well. I think you're onto something bright. :)
