Hi!
I don't have much info on how good they are. If you are coming to Tallinn, then I can suggest You the neighbourhoods You should tr - best is old town, I know there are some hostels. Unfortunately no info on quality. In tallin the best places to see 1. old town - it's also in Unesco heritage and quit pretty. 2. KUMU - if you are interested in art, You shoukld visit our newly built national art musem, it's located near to centre and is close to our president's palace also, in Tallinn's biggest park Kadriorg. In city center You can find quite a few shopping malls, ih that's what You're interested in. In old town there are many night clubs and butiques also. Near old town there is a lovely neigbourhood called kalamaja, it's a bit bohemian, old wooden houses and art peaple living there. It's just lovely to wlak around, nothing much to do. We also have a zoo and an open-air museum where one can get a hint of how estonians used to live a few hundred years ago. It's quite OK also. Some SPAs in city centre also and water amusement in them aswell.
I suggest to get out of Tallinn for it's our lovely landscape and quite untoched nature everybody loves a lot. On Northern coast You can find cliff coast, which is quite impressive, in Southern estnoia we have lvely little hills and lakes. In south, there ise Tartu, our most important university town, which is quite lovely also. Best resorts are Pärnu and Haapsalu on west coast - Pärnu more for fun.oriented people and Haapsalu more for lazy bohemian or romantic traveller.
Hope this helps a bit.
rgrds,
Kristi
